In the final installment before the event on the 25th May at the Guiness Store House I answer questions on how MMC and Offsite can be an integral part of a wider solution that in some way can help alleviate the housing crisis in Ireland. MMC should be a primary element in the development process it should be cost planned at Stage 2 , all projects would benefit from an offsite strategy at planning stage this could involve standardisation, logistics proposals or even a kit of parts or the final step of a full volumetric system .The benefits of adopting an MMC approach are to be further discussed at the round table events where ideas and experiences can be shared.
